Dr. Karina Shevchenko L.A.c, DACM, MAOM

A devoted practitioner of integrative, heart-centered healing. Born in Ukraine and shaped by life in Brooklyn, Tampa, and now the serene mountains of Asheville, she carries a rich blend of cultural depth, compassion, and spiritual insight into her work.

Since 2016, Karina has committed herself to deep self-healing and reflection, cultivating clarity so she can serve as a grounded, intuitive guide to benefit herself and others. Her passion lies in inner growth, energetic alignment, and exploring modalities that help individuals raise their frequency and step into their highest expression.

2024 birthed a blend of healing styles that she now intertwines with her patients. As a graduate from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts, a Reiki Master, Buddhist Practitioner, and trained in intuitive muscles testing, she brings a comprehensive and integrative approach to supporting the delicate and complex system of bodies. These systems allow her to benefit her patients through pain management, emotional release, nervous system regulation, and spiritual transformation. Her treatments may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, Gua Sha, electrical stimulation, intuitive guidance and energy work — all thoughtfully combined to help patients reconnect with balance, peace, and their authentic selves.

As a Reflector, Karina offers a uniquely attuned presence, understanding people on a profound level and guiding them toward alignment.

Being a Buddhist practitioner allows keeps her to be rooted in kindness, compassion, clarity, and a peaceful heart and mind, qualities she brings into every session.
